– Technology-driven mortgage lender ranks #1 on Charlotte Business Journal’s Best Places to Work list –

CHARLOTTE, November 18, 2016 – Quicken Loans, the nation’s second largest retail mortgage lender, today announced that for the second consecutive year it ranked #1 on The Charlotte Business Journal’s ‘2016 Best Places to Work’ list in the extra-large company category. The results are based primarily on team member surveys that were conducted and evaluated by Quantum Workplace on behalf of The Charlotte Business Journal.

“This recognition is about our passionate team members and the hard work they put in every day while serving our clients and each other,” said David Schroeder, Vice President of Quicken Loans Mortgage Services, a Charlotte-based division of Quicken Loans. “When you take care of your team members and build a workplace that values feedback and encourages innovation, success and team member satisfaction are sure to follow.”

This philosophy is evident as earlier this month J.D. Power ranked Quicken Loans highest in the United States in “customer satisfaction” among all major home loan lenders for primary mortgage origination —a recognition the company has earned the last seven consecutive years (2010 – 2016). J.D. Power has also named Quicken Loans highest in customer satisfaction among all mortgage servicers in 2014, 2015 and 2016 – each year the company has been eligible.

Quicken Loans, which has grown its Charlotte office to 350 team members, provides mortgages to clients in all 50 states through centralized online lending centers.

Quicken Loans team members possess the same passion for making a difference in their communities as they do serving clients. In 2016, team members contributed nearly 3,000 hours to local charities and community groups in the Charlotte area. Team members are granted and encouraged to take a fully paid day off to volunteer. Additionally, Quicken Loans made more than $16 million in charitable contributions to more than 250 nonprofits and charities nationally in the past year.

“Volunteerism is part of our culture at Quicken Loans,” added Schroeder. “The Charlotte community’s support has helped us become who we are today, and we are all eager to show our appreciation.”
