DETROIT (December 11, 2018) –The Rocket Mortgage Classic, the first PGA TOUR event to ever be held in the city of Detroit, today unveiled details of a flash sale featuring two unique ticket packages for golf fans to attend the inaugural event at the historic Detroit Golf Club, June 27-30, 2019. Fans visiting RocketMortgageClassic.com have the chance to be among the first to lock down their tickets before the widely anticipated public sales take place in early 2019.

Beginning December 13, fans can purchase two one-day general admission grounds passes for any day of competition (Thursday, June 27 through Sunday, June 30) for $130. That’s just $65 per ticket. For those seeking to entertain clients, colleagues or business associates, a hospitality package will also be available for purchase. The package includes two passes for full tournament play (Thursday through Sunday), access to a shared hospitality venue overlooking the 15th green and one VIP parking pass for $1,750.

“With this being the first ever PGA TOUR event held in the city of Detroit, the demand for tickets has been overwhelming. We are putting an end to the wait and anticipation – at least for a few days – to give fans the chance to be among the first to get their tickets. The holidays are right around the corner, and there is no better gift or stocking stuffer for the golf enthusiast on everyone’s list,” said Jason Langwell, Executive Director of the Rocket Mortgage Classic. “There are millions of golfers and fans of the sport across the state and surrounding area. We have had so much interest from the local community, it only felt appropriate to acknowledge this enthusiasm by creating an opportunity for everyone to claim their spot front and center when the world’s best golfers come to Detroit next summer.”

Those purchasing tickets are encouraged to act fast, as this pre-sale is a limited-time offer that will expire on December 23. This is the only time tickets will be available until general ticket sales open in early 2019.

The Rocket Mortgage Classic will be more than just a new sporting event in the city of Detroit. In addition to the excitement of watching 156 of the world’s top professional golfers competing over four days for a $7.3 million purse, attendees will experience great local food and beverages, unique entertainment options and plenty of other exciting things to do outside the ropes – both at the golf course and throughout the city.
